crossed over V6 grill onto GT bumper
I was going for the Shelby GT look... the V6 grill is actually smaller than the GT, and the holes for the tabs are in different places... I had to cut all the lower tabs, I could still use the side tabs, I had to add 3M double sided tape as a strap to hold it into place... the radiator cover also helps the grill in place... you really need to tug tight together the sides in order for the grill to make it in both sides.. one kept popping out everytime i was tugging it into place.. but it does work... just gotta get a little creative.. tell me what ya think? if you dont have nothing nice to say dont say it at all...

hmm i am not sure about this one...you can actually see that the grill is to small. I have see a GT mag that had a plain grill with no fog lights on it. i was wondering where i could get that.

Where your fogs hooked up? Oh and this was the Stang i was talking about. Its a GT with a plain honeycomb grill. I actually want to find out where he got it so i can fab up my pony package lights to it. it would actually be kinda cool to see a GT with pony fogs on it.

the pony package grill will actually work, and i think that it will look cool with the smaller fogs... I hooked my lights up to the setup that I had it on my stock bumper... the GT bumper looks way better than the v6 base bumper... I actually brought my car up to 100mph today and my grill didnt fall out or anything... the tabs are not so great once they have been removed.. so add some protection.. the gap between the bumper and the grill is not actually noticable until you get really close... add some extra foam or something under the bumper to lift it up and it actually could hide the gap...

so wait your telling me that the pony package grill will fit in the GT bumper without any gaps or anything? And on your stock bumper did you have the pony fogs or did you have gt fogs crammed into a v6 bumper? I have been looking at this for a while and i am wondering what i should do.

Yours will have a gap because it was created in the V6 bumper... but its not that bad... my car didnt come with the pony package, I bought it bone stock, the holes for the tabs are in different places... you will need to cut off the bottom tabs only... two tabs on each side will hold it into place, plus your radiator cover will hold it from the top... I added 3M tape and straped it along each side to the bumper itself, just for added support... but all in all, it works flawlessly..
