WOW. i knew they had this from someones post on it, but i thought they'd cost like 300 like the regular one. wut a bargain ( i no u have to buy the lights and the wiring, but you have to do that for the other one too!!!!)

Where can I get the grill for 159 ?? Is this metal, powder coated, or plastic? I think to start, i will just install the lights for looks and wait to do the harness....

link to somebody selling it for $159??? And why is the SS GT grille like $270 ??

ok here is a link . the old grill i had was a plastic shell with a mesh insert. this new style is basicly just like your stock grill all plastic dimpled finish and all just with the center fog opening added. you still have to get the lights and harness. but they can be found for around 180 so the whole kit would be 340 plus 20 bucks for the tri bar if you wanted it.

Thanks... I thought your original GT grille was metal.... the SS grilles I see advertised are like $270, and are metal.

OK.. so you are saying everybody gets the shell.... then you can add a metal "grill" insert in front of that. So, your old GT grille was a shell and grille, but your new center mounted light grille is just the shell...

Humm.. This center lighted grille would look great as a billeted grill.

I assume all the mounting hardware for the lights is included, and I just need to buy two bare GT lights (and harness if I want them to work).

Wow i usually check v6mustangstuff.com to see if they added anything new like that. $300 now thats not too shabby for the grille kit. Sure the wiring kit is $5 cheaper on the other website but seems like a good deal.

thanks non for the heads up i had no idea they were selling the stuff too. thats who i will point to in the future! i have bought plenty of stuff from them and they are a good vendor. good find. lx no my origianal ss grill was a plastic outer scell with t metal center . this grill is all plastic but look stock and is very nice.
