paint was expensive because when you include the stripes you have to repaint almost the entire car. Plus it is a show quality finish so there are quite a few coats of clear, and the stripes have a pearl finish in them, all in all for a show quality finish you are gonna spend about 7K just for the kit, more if you want more.

It is how it is, and honestly my car has never failed to amaze people the first thing they comment on is the paint. Put next to a stock car same color they never realized it was the same color.

BTW more pics of the ride as promised:

Box still isnt done but here it is so far,

See I even get attention next to a Ford GT ;P
The guy with th GT is actually really cool, he lives about 15min from me and he drives that thing all the time.

For whatever it's worth..I had a chance to personally see this bad a@@ car during a car show down by Richmond, VA a few weeks ago and let me tell you...this is one awesome car and a superbly done paint job. Paying $7K seems like peanuts compare to what Matt got on this one...by the way..this is a free advertisemt for Matt and his pony...he did not pay me a cent to say this...rock on...[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Yea the wheels are 20x10(r) and 20x8.5(f) Foose Nitrous Wheels - obviously black, but I am looking to change them for next season because so many mustangs have them (mostly polished) so I am talking to DPE and American Racing (Boyd Coddington) about sponsoring the car and hookin me up with some wheels.

I am already sponsored by Kicker, Cavallo Customizing, Gary Besk Kustumz, and both Rotora and Stillen have approved me for a sponsorship (I think I'm goin w/ Stillen) both have brake upgrade kits for the 05+ Body. Gary (body shop master) is talkin to Cervinis about sponsoring both of our Mustangs.

Anyway, more to come on the car, we are adding the 3D Carbon Rear Window Surround and Painting it and the mirrors (not just the caps but the whole things) to match the car and stripes. Also tinitng the windows 20% and a bit more work on the box. Also thinkin about addin a cage in the car and some racing harnesses. The in bout a year I will Supercharge the car. For now performance will consist of Headers, Intake, Throttlebody, Exhaust and Tune (since it won't void out the warranty)

I'll post pics as the project continues.
