Default pony package to center fogs?

hey i'm about to throw down a bunch of money on exterior stuff before christmas (getting lots of go goodies for christmas) and i was wondering if my pony package wiring harness would work with sse center fog kit? i was thinking about selling my pony grille and getting that one and if the harness works why go thru the trouble of putting in a new one?

p.s. this is what my car should look like in a few months, tell me what ya think

I asked and someone told me that the Pony's are different wiring harness then the GT lights so you might have to buy a new harness. And if you do go with a center light set up you should make me a deal on your pony lights

the only thing i know of that would be different would be the light plugs themselves - you may have to just cut of the originals and splice on new ones

afixer answered this for you in a previous thread ... the pony package bulb connections need to be replaced with GT plugs and you may need to extend the harness. He also answered your question on the SS harness and in a thread for another member posted a fog wiring digram and install instructions

Default RE: pony package to center fogs?

I just put in the GT grill and bumper cover. The pony package wiring harness DOES IN FACT WORK WITH THE GT FOGS. There are two parts to the wiring harness. There is a plug directly into the pony fogs, the wire off of that is attached to the grill itself. Another wire plugs into this one. That second wire has the EXACT plug that hooks into the GT fogs. That wire attached to the grill appears as if it's simply an adapter. The harness was long enough, and it locked into place on the GT fogs. If the plugs on these fogs are the same as the ones on the GT, there should be no issues. I did this install yesterday. If you've looked at the wiring to the PP fogs, you'll see what I mean, one plug into the fogs, another plug into that wire. Anyone who has the Pony Package and was told otherwise, you've been taken for some extra money.

If you guys want pics of the wiring, let me know, and as soon as I have a chance, I'll take some.
