GTS Rear blackouts

RE: GTS Rear blackouts
I have a set of those. I don't believe they are street legal, however I have yet to be pulled over for mine and I drive the car everyday. One thing though, they are a pain in the butt to keep on the car (when you open the trunk that is) I couldn't get the velcro pad to stick to the black plastic tailight trim. I also bought the headlight covers as well and I threw them out after only a couple of days. I ended up making my own using vinyl, re-usable window tint. A guy in my mustang club suggested that one.

I dont know about in the day time but apparently it would be illegal to have them on at night since the tail light visibility would be really low. I think you should go with the tint if you do it, its a little cheaper and if you dont like it you wouldntve wasted as much money. On the other hand the covers could be resold so its a toss up.
