Here's a link to a picture of the left (driver's side) brake caliper on my Mustang. There are no visible numbers. The numbers are most likely on the back. The rears are substantially different in appearance.

Hope that helps. Sunday is a bad day if you need to contact a Ford dealers parts department. You might try Pep Boys, Auto Zone, or one of those outfits who have OME catalogs.

There may also be torque specs for the caliper mounting bolts. You may want to check this out with your dealer, or invest in a Mustang shop manual, not the after market ones, but the one from Ford. Price will be somewhere around $170, but it's worth it if you are really going to be digging into your Mustang. There is also a parts catalog for about the same amount, which can save you some grief as well.

Mustang Brake Specs

Front
GT 316 (12.4 in) x 30 mm vented disc, twin-piston 43 mm floating aluminum calipers
V-6 293 (11.4 in) x 30 mm vented disc, twin-piston 43 mm floating aluminum calipers

Rear
GT 300 (11.8 in) x 19 mm vented disc, single piston 43 mm floating iron calipers
V-6 300 (11.8 in) x 19 mm vented disc, single piston 43 mm floating iron calipers

According to this the fronts are aluminum and the rears are iron. Can you determine which two are aluminum and which two are iron?
wow we actually have larger rear brakes? i've never even heard of that...

Yes it is kind of unusual since most of your stopping power is on the front brakes. The twin-piston front calipers make up the difference, and the aluminum dissipates heat better so it works and if you're a drag racer the lighter weight is an advantage. You can get a set of take off GT front disks for something like $99, but if I understand correctly you need the 17-inch wheels to clear them. It also takes the GT caliper mounting bracket, but its suppose to be an easy upgrade.
