Ok, I am really hoping someone here can help me.

I would love to do chrome racing stripes on my windveil blue mustang. However, its proving to be harder than I expected.

I've learned that chrome vinyl does not last out doors. (It would die in the arizona heat.) Then I saw the chrome they did on MTV's pimp my ride, they did chrome scollops. But they were not vinyl, they used a process that creates a chrome effect on the metal. I cant seem to find out what this is called, I have tried looking online to no avail.

If anyone here knows what the process is called, please let me know. That'll help me find out how I can get this done, who can do it, and how much its going to cost.

I'm not sure what it is involved, but you should check into the legality of doing it. The reflections could be blinding to you as well as other cars. It would look sweet though.

There is a company called alsa corp that makes a chrome paint, which I believe Pimp My Ride used on the Mustang. Here is the link http://www.alsacorp.com/products/mir...a_prodinfo.htm .

Just because I showed you this product dosent mean I condone chrome stripes on a 2005-2007 mustang.

Oh ya the pimp my ride Mustang Gt, that thing was bad ***...Although i didnt like the lime green/chrome look but i did this with the right scheme the chrome might look good.

Lol ya they could have done a better color scheme and layout for the chrome to make it more of a clean look but the pimp my ride always has wacky paint jobs. Personally i wouldve driven it but i wouldnt buy it

Are you kidding that was one of the ugliest S197 mustangs ever!! If they gave it to me the first thing I would do is repaint it than rip out the whole interior.
