Plenimun Cover Rubbing !!!!!

RE: Plenimun Cover Rubbing !!!!!
I am copying this from a previou post, It still is working great, no insulation rub, hope it helps.
Easy way to hold up hood pad. Remove retaing buttons frome one side of cover under hood (wiggle out with needle nose pliers). You can now get between hood & pad. Pick up a can of 3M super 77 spray adhesive from home depot. Spray underside of hood & top hood cover let dry for 10 or so mins, press retaining buttons back into place to align cover then press cover tight against hood. My cover hasn't moved. been up for a month. No damage to plenum cover. I read about the damage to cover on this post & glued it up when I installed the plenum cover. I you don't do this do something or it will be ruined because it will rub. Good luck

So if i don't glue my insulation up... My plenum cover (metal or hard plastic) will be damaged? When did insulation become hard as metal?!?
