Default Fake Gas Cap

Don't really like the look of the fake gas cap - I've always been partial to the minimalist approach.

Anyway, would it look odd if it were removed? Looks a like a hair dryer / heat gun would work for removal but would the trunk key hole look strange / not flush?

I've also considered a blackout panel that eliminates the fake cap, but my car is white and I don't know how good the blackout panel would look on a white car.

The key hole is definately not flush. Also remember that there are two alignment pins, pretty good size actually, horizontally located when you remove the badge.....

I've always liked the badge, as being representative of the earlier rear fuel caps. Just never cared for the fact that the trunk keyhole was visable...I switched to this....

Blackout panels look great on white cars....

I agree. After a long decision I decided on the CDC - I thought it was one of the best looking IMO.

Yeah I chose the CDC Pannel too. Heres a pic. I have a Saleen SuperCharged badge under the GT on the back now. No new pictures of it though. Almost killed me taking off the rear cap because I thought I was messing up my car. But I closed my eyes and did it quickly. No regrets. Cant wait to get the GT500 spoiler and rear bumper to finish off the back of my car (and put back on my Bassani exhaust too).
