Default Would this be worth 3 to 4 times the cost to you???

I wrote a thread about this but thought a poll might be a better way to go about it....

I have been doing some research and wanted to hear from you all if it would be worth it to YOU to have electronically controlled and or UV controlled smart windows installed...

The cost of such a project is unclear at this point because the technology is so new but the capabilities are there for sure! The electronically controlled glass is only about 39 millionths of an inch think!!!

We're talking customized messages on your windshield while your car is parked, automatically adjusting tint that adjusts depending on the amount of uv/sunlight there is to block switching to clear at night!!!

This is not currently on the market and the fact that there is even a market for this in the auto glass industry is unclear but the possibilities are endless in my opinion!

I can assume the cost to be around 3 to 4 times more for this glass. So if a windshield today cost $300 you're looking at $900 to $1,200 for the customized smart windshield. That seems worth it too me!! What say the rest of you!!????

It would be cool to have dark tinted windows when u want then switch them to clear windows when a cop pulls you over. If it was an option on a new car i would get it.

From what I can see, you have no way for a person to vote no to your poll. Without a button for no, I predict a positive outcome!

How about that 68XR7-- I just checked the results and so far it's 100% in favor!
