05, 06, 07 interior removal ?
I'm planning to line the interior with sound dampening material and wanted to know if anyones removed any interior pieces, and if there's any tricks. Do the rear seats just pop out like the fox bodies used to, or are there actual tools needed?

All I've taken out is from the front seats back. I left the rear seat in, just gutted all the trim around them, they joys of rear speaker replacement on the 07's.....All I needed was a panel tool to remove the push pin fasteners and the rest was all clipped in. Be very careful and patient re-installing the quarter window trim, there isa hook in the rear of it which is a bear to get back in right. A set of torx bits will help too, the coat hook is like a t-10 or 1-15 and the seatbelt is actually a normal bolt head, like a 14mm or something, I don't exactly remember.

Update - Since some of you had similar interest, I thought I'd update my interior question with my experience....
I removed most of the interior and it was a lot easier than I expected. The rear seat has two pressure clips, one in the middle of each seat at the front underneath area, just lift the seat edge a bit and you can see it. Once that is released, the seat bench just slides down and out towards the front, need the guide the seatbelts back through the seat cushions. The rear quarter panels are about the toughest area. You have to remove the 2 screws behind the fold down seat and the one carpet plug, then it's just a matter of manuevering the front door edge off (which is very tight). You do have to pop the lower door plate (says MUSTANG on it), you don't have to take it off completely, but just pop the inside edge enough to slide the lower tab from the quarter panel out from underneath. Then the hard part - 2 snap clips that are just about impossible to get to in the middle area of the qtr panel (so just have to pray or replace if they pop). The center console has two screws in the bottom of the storage area and two screws in the front. The ring around the shifter (AT) just pops off (like the old fox body did), the two vertical dash/inner kick panels pop off, releasing the front of the center console. Don't forget to disconnect the power outlet wire. Then the seats are easy enough and the carpet all comes up. Thats the basics of it, some minor maneuvering and the right angles help make it easier, but it's something you learn while doing it. Goodluck
