shelby gt & gt-h billet grilles
does anyone know where to buy a billet grille as featured on the shelby gt & gt-h.
it would have to fit my 2006 mustang gt. the key feature i have been searching
for is the offset tri bar pony emblem. i have a picture of the grille below. any ideas?

Any idea of the billet overlay grille will somehow impede airflow over the radiator?

the grille i want to install doesn't go over the existing grille, it replaces the original grille. if anything, the billet grille
would improve airflow. as far as the overlay grille goes, i'm not sure.

Califorina Concepts did the install. Cervini told me it would bolt rightinby lining up the bottom 2 brackets with the back edge of the bumper cover and drilling holes, 2 in the bottom of the bumper cover and one on each side. I read in another thread the grill was a little wide in some spots and needed to be trimmed. My installer had to trim the width some andmounted ita little differently. It's mounted to, I believe, factory mounting points not the bumper cover. To do it this way must have been quite a job:
YIKES!
I requested the new grill be set backlike a '65 Shelby and not installed flush with the hood. This means the plastic shroud that goeson top ofthe radiator and up to the grill is now too long andneeds to trimmed. I've still got address that.

how much did the install from the body shop set you back? i was planning on installing the grill myself, but it sounds like a hassle. just wondering whether a professional install would be worth it. or is it too much body work for an amateur?
