If you run a lowered firm suspension the 20's will beat you up.I run a softer Steeda Sport suspension on my 07'GT and the 20's I run don't ride any different than with the 18's I had. My 06'GT had an FRPP handling pack with 20's and it drove like a truck but it took corners without any lateral roll out.
There way to many choices when it comes to wheels and tires. Its not a bad thing but just take your pick and good luck.

me personally, I'd never ask anyone's opinion before buying appearance mods for my car, as mine is the only one that counts.

And all this talk about the bigger wheels slowing you down....yeah maybe there is some tiny difference in the 1/4 mile...but I can't tell a difference at all on the street. My car still feels fast as hell....and I don't even have a tune yet. The 20s are kinda heavy yeah, but the 17s I pulled off the car were no light weight racing wheels either.
20's...especially if you lower it (which I still want to do). You lose horsepower doing it, but like you said, you aren't going to the drag strip. In the end, pick whatever YOU like the most. Even if everyone else thinks one thing is cool, you'll kick yourself if you hate it in the end.
20s 20s 20s 20s 20s 20s 20s 20s NoGo
Whats all this loosing HP with 20s all about.
You guys need to explain yourselves.

these days, you can't really say that 20's, in and of themselves, are ghetto, as there are now a number of performance cars that come with them stock, including the new Challenger SRT, Camaro SS, Saleen and the Shelby GT500 SS. the right style 20" wheels will look better than the wrong style 18's all day long. ghetto wheels come in ALL sizes.
