So is there anything I can do to stop the driver and pass sides from scratching. I already had them redone once before I figured out it was the car doin it.

Get this..just got mine today!

MOLESKIN
Thanks for the info. I had no idea ya had to get those, I ordered them as soon as I read about it.
moleskin is a must, ive had my tints for a couple months now and you would now believe the scratches that it has on it. just ordered the moleskin after all the good things i had read about it

Man I talked with the tinter at a local place about what I read here. He said that he has never used moleskin, & doesnt see there being a problem. I asked them to guarantee the tint against scratches because of what I have read here. They said they guarantee their work...............................

Well, I got the Tint Thursday ( 35% all around ) , it looked perfect the guy did a great job. I did not pick it up until Fri.

Michigan weather is crap right now, so I think my window has been down 3-4 times for drive thru service & low & behold I see 2 long scratches & some tiny monor ones in my driver window. I placed the call today & they will be getting back to me after a call to the tinter.

Lesson Learned. ** Do not be impatient with getting things done to my Mustang, & take the advice from here to heart **

the 20% looks good all around. The popo's here in NY are pretty uptight with the tint laws. So whenever i see one, i put the windows down..hahaha

so a tinter told me moleskin makes it worse, pinches the tint, he guarantees for 3 years. ever hear of that problem? more stuff inside (moleskin) makes a tighter pinch and can scratch. what u think?
