I've been contemplating getting ford racing stripes on my stang but I'm just not sure if it will look "spankin" or not. I want white, cause my other graphics and rocker stripe are but I guess my biggest question is....will it look funny with just the hood, roof, and trunk done? Does anyone have this? And if so, can you please post pics? I really need help on this one.

I think it looks unfinished, you need to get the 12' stripes, that covers the front and rear bumpers.

Looks very nice so far. I think that adding the racing stripes in white to your car would look good. It would compliment your other graphics. I love that windveil blue.

Thanks! I'm still unsure if I want to dump a grand into stripes. If I get stripes, I'm gonna have to get new wheels right? Think if I just changed my grill, that would make a big difference?

Shop around, I think those stripes look unfinished as well. I also think mine are unfinished, the guy that put them on must have been on crack [&:]. I love the look of stripes, but I perfer 10" over 12"..

Don't fall into the trap of thinking you need new wheels. Yes, the 17" Bullits and others look nice, but what is your final goal with this car. If you are going for the full on, 1968-69 sport look, then by all means, get the bullit wheels. If, on the other hand, you are going for a more "Luxus" look, as I am working on with mine (Gabi), you may not want to change them out or choose something totally different. I would wait until you need new tires. This allows you to maximumize you money.

Changing out your grill will change the look of your front end. I feel the stock grill needs all the help it can get. I love my fog set-up. If you want to see what various items look on your car, you can go to the following web site:

Dark blue on the Windveil looks different and I don't think anybody has that or black yet.

Play around with the options.

Yup, their that expensive where I am, that is for painted. Could have got vinyl for $400 full kit but no one will do them around here. Bummer. I'm gonna bump the stripe idea and wait for my next stang and I will order it with them. Thanks for all your help!
