Default old man + Lawnmower + rocks = :``(

so i am on my way to back to college to make it in time for my mornin class and im going through a state park here in KY. and i notice an old man in is mid to late 70s mowin his yard up on an embankment 12-15ft above my car. and i think nothing about because its just and man on a ridin lawnmower. im doin about 65mph and i go past the elderly man and sure enough his mower ran over a group of rocks and some how they managed to be slung all against the passenger side of my car. when i arrived at my apt i got out of my car to notice a scattered placement of scratches and paint chipped away along the side of my car!! ive got an appointment to the local dealership's body shop to see what can be done to heal my cars wounds. just wanted to know if this has ever happend to anyone else? hopefully my car will be back to normal very soon!

I've been hit by rocks and stuff from mowers and one rock hit by some punk kid with a bat. Most of the cars/trucks I didn't care enough about to fix (except the punk).

Saturday, my son came in and told me that he was going to mow the front yard. I didn't think much about it except when I remembered that my 1/2 day old GT in the driveway. I ran out frantically waving and shouting 'STOP - DON'T MOW NEAR THE CARS!!'

Sorry to hear about your dammage. I'd get the police involved ASAP and report it. I always stop mowing when cars are coming down the road and I never mow with the discharge pointing toward a car or person.

Good luck with it.

i figured that the old man would have stopped until i drove by... i dunno if he never saw me or couldnt hear me comin. im concerned that insurance isnt going to cover it and ive got to pay for this out of my own pocket...cause my chances of proving that the old man did it are slim to none. the thought of throwing rocks back at him is starting to sound like the way to go.

Stop and talk to the guy. Same thing happened to my Explorer. We stopped and talked to the guy. Found out who his home owner coverage was with. I put a claim in to them and they paid right up.
