RE: Getting ready for summer with a new look!
Thanks for the comments! Alaska is great for a vert! I have had the top down and driven into town (5 miles)at least once each month since we have owned the black Mustang. 15 degrees (F) is my cut off, but if it's over15 degreesand sunny there isa good chance I'll have the top down and a long as I'm not on the highway, it's way warmer than one would guess. (yep I know I'm odd! lol)
Both cars have the same tire/rim set up. The current tire/rim BFG KDW2 on 20" black bullitts, size 255x35x20in 20x9 on front and 285x30x20 on 20x10 in rear.
The yellowMustang hadthe suspenion changed last year with mainly BMR parts. Itwas lowered with Eibach Pro spring kit and Tokico D-Spec adjustable struts, adjustable control arm, adjustable panhard bar, adjustable 3rd link, sway bars all to help handle the 540 hp JDM tuned Saleen S/C. (yes those are the winter tires and stock rims on the yellow car in some of those pics 235x45x17 studded Pirelli winter carvers, and no it's no longer fun to drive on ice!!!)
Dropped offthe Saleen body kit to the paint shop last week for theyellow Mustangand told them I'd be readythe end of May to install them and the new tire/rim combo.Pics will follow.
The blackMustang isour daughters car (so she thinks) these pics were taken before the Eibach Pro spring kit and Tokico D-spec were installed last week. The GT's sway bars will be addedsoon and when I install the Saleen brakes to the GT the black car will receive these hand me downs too. It's babied so I don't really think we'll do the whole suspension upgrades on this Mustang.
This is the link to the cheapest I could find these Black Bullittsbut it appears that the fronts they sale are 20x8.5 not 20x9.
