Default Stripe question

Hey all. I have a question and I am looking for other people's opinions. We are thinking about striping our torch red GT, but we want something a lil different from the normal dual whites. For a little flare, I had an idea to have the horse emblem in the middle of the hood with the stripes going thru it. How do you guys think this would look? Stupid? or kick a$$? I know it's my car and I can do w/e the**** I wanna do with it, but I am just looking for some other opinions. Thanks in advance.

Here is my idea that I drew up. My dad does vinyl graphics and signs for his job, so he would be putting them on. The stripes will be vinyl, so if we don't like it, the worst case scenario, we remove the horse and make the stripes continuous. I hope the pic works...let me know what you think.

You can always try it & if you don't like it, take it off since it's vinyl.
Not fond of the double rally stripes myself, wanted something different & retro, went with the Boss style C-stripes.

The drawing kinda reminds me of having a tri-bar emblem done on the hood.......interesting.......

Aircare,
Assume that's your young gearhead?? LOL, he already has the "hang the arm out the drivers side window" move down pat.....Great pic!!

PCstang,
Here's one Graphics Express sells, Shown on a wimdow, but it would fit the hood also.

i wish i could do artwork like that... definitely looks different... i personally would go something in the silver family... maybe even a chrome-looking one... but it all depends on how flashy you want it to be.

Aircare, I actually bought a red horse emblem for our back window which we still have to put on. I used that horse emblem as reference for my drawing.

Mlcrycc, I was actually thinking of referencing the tri-bar/pony emblem for our theme. I think it would stand out from the rest and it's def. different from some plain old stripes. I am just trying to think of an idea that wouldn't make our car just another mustang out on the road. Not saying that that is a bad thing, I just want ours to stand out a lil bit.

And Drop top, thanks for the compliment on the artwork and your input about the chrome looking idea. That could look cool having it mirror the emblem on the hood.

Thanks for your opinions so far, and more are appreciated. Hopefully we can work something out, and once we finally do get it done, I will def post pics. My dad just recently striped my buddy's Ram pickup, looks sweeet! Really makes the truck stand out and come alive. Can't wait to make our pony stand out.
