vista blue/flush louvers from Silverhorseracing.com
I got these unpainted, Silverhorse does offer them painted though- install not a big deal, woulda been easier with 2 people, but one guy and a few hours...hard to reach that rear corner with the cutting wire because my arms are about an inch too short, but other than cramps from that, went very easy- get their kit, it works great for cutting the glass adhesive, and he's offering it at a very reasonable cost...painting was fun, couple hours masking, but the parts are extremely good quality, paint prep is just sanding the edges and scuffing...masking will soon be easier as they are going to start shipping templates with the kits soon- but easiest just to order prepainted...primer was 69 bucks a quart with hardener, basecoat was 55 bucks a pint, I had the other flexibilizer/reducers, etc...wont save any money in DIY mode, but I was too impatient to wait for prepainted ...and will still need to rub them out as I got dust in the clearcoat...
Visibility is excellent- havent driven yet, but I had tinted my windows very dark, this is definitely an improvement
every since I got the car, the only slight 'looks' dislikesIve personally had were the quarter windows and the flat hood...seriously wanted to fill the window and add a 69 emblem there, but I really like the way these flow with the car, and think filling it woulda been a mistake vs this option- glad I waited

I'm not sure on pricing- www.silverhorseracing.com is their site, the webstore has info, dunno if paint cost/tools is on there or not...email Marcello and he'll answer any questions...A lot of uspreordered these starting in september, and everyone got weekly updates, no suprises...great guy to deal with to say the least.
these are molded from clear (lightly tinted) uv stabilized lexan, and the little windows are suprisingly clear for a molded part...optical distortionless than glass in some old houses at the worst, crystal clear most places- dunno how they managed that in molded plastic with all the shrinkage/etc you get from the molding process...molds had to cost a small fortune- quite an undertaking for a relatively small supplier- but I predict hes gonna have a HUGE hit on his hands with these...I'd kinda thought about Roush's before, but taped on scared me (I know- VHB tape=oem, etc...but Ive had 2 oem rearview mirrors glass fall out while driving over the years...) but they looked pretty cool, just not enough to get me to place an order...when I first saw the pic of the prototype for these, I was looking for the line

Be sure to include the price of the installation when comparing louvers. You'll need these extra tools:
- window removal kit
- 3M Urethane sealer & caulk gun
- Masking tape
- Trim removal tool
- assorted other tools
Maybe once someone has installed them they can loan the tools to the next guy?
Here's the list and installation instructions & photos! Also there is a picture of the louvers looking out from the interior! It's the best view I've seen from the inside with any louver on the Mustang!

I still think it's the best looking set of louvers and would get it in a second... maybe when I get a Shelby?
