Copying from another member here, I painted my letters on my Pirellis. I like the look, just wonder how durable the stuff is.

btw, how long did it take you? what did you use to paint them?

I used a new product from Duplicolor called "Hot Tires." It took moe a few hours including removing the wheels, detailing the wheels and brakes and painting the tires. Make sure your tires are real clean if you try it. I scrubbed mine with cleanser before painting them.

I love it! I just bought a set of those same Pirellis along with rims and i've been thinkin of doin the same thing but i didn't know how it would look. But now i know and it looks great! Great job man

Painted white letter tires was the first thing I did to mine when I brought it home. Used the Duplicolor pen also. It lasted about 2 weeks, then started looking rough, peeling etc. Went back to black.

Back in the day when white letters were popular, we would use a crayon like stick to mark over the letters after the tires were cleaned. It lasted for a while, then you had to reapply. Maybe that's why it lost it's popularity?

WOW.......that white really sets those tires off. Great Job. Car looks sick! (I'm going to find some Goodyears with white lettering now)
