I personaly would go with a panel that is held on by double-sided tape because if applied correctly that stuff will not let go. Plus, I have noticed that magnets can wear out over time or lose ability to stick well if the area they are on gets too much dirt in it. If I was to choose between the magnets and the vinyl I would pick the latter because it has less chance of falling off.

I've had mine on for 2+ years. No problems here. I take it off every time I wash the car and it's been fine. You can't beat it for the money and you can take it off in 10 seconds.

Same here, this is the second Mustang I have had the magnetic one on and NO problems , the trick is to keep it clean.

+1. I got because it was cheap and I wanted to see how I liked the look before I went and painted it.

I have my vote in for the vinyl one. I have it with no problems and you can wash it just like it is part of the car. There are a couple of good install threads on the vinyls as well. My only thing is that no one has had any probs with the vinyls as far asI know, so i would not want to take the chance. But if you are responsible enough to keep it clean and pay attention to it, the magnetic one may work just fine.

Used the magnet for several weeks. Convinced me I needed to have the black-out painted.
