I have an 06GT Premium... Black with the red interior.

Ok the other day something got on my back seat.. the red leather... some sort of ink or paint or something. I have no idea what it is or how it got there.

I took it to a trim shop and the guy said that the seats were not leather... they were vinyl.
Is this true?

Also... he told me I could not get it out ( Tried with alcohol to no effect)
but needed to get some color coat and told me to get the kind that works with vinyl...
I got SEM color coat and the color is portola red.
Was as close as I could get to match and the paint guy said that you could not tell the difference with the naked eye and he could not do much better even if he mixed me up a custom one.

Well... is it leather or vinyl?
Will it hurt if I use the vinyl coat if it is in fact leather?
He is going to do it for me but I thought these seats were in fact leather?

What should I do?

I really need some help!

Back seats are vinyl. The fronts have leather in the middle and vinyl on the sides.

Sucks doesn't it?

Wow thought they were cheap! I've got light scratches in the Vinyl part,could this berepaired(or replaced)under warrenty?

I have the tan "parchment" leather seats, I use purple power degreaser to remove black marks from peoples shoes and such, also removes grime from the back seats, didn't damage my seats at all and my interior looks brand new.

I want red seats. Is the v-6 leather the same vinyl?

Well at least the back is vinyl so I got the right stuff to color the mark. I have someone that is going to do it for me.
