Im thinking about buying the 3D Carbon Boy Racer body kit and can afford the kit itself however i have no idea how much it would cost to paint and install the kit??? Ive been told its not hard to do the install yourself and was wondering if anyone here has any expierience in it or if anyone would know how much the paint would cost??? thnx

The custom shop at my ford dealer quoted me 1700$ to paint the whole Racer Boy kit, the 10 piece one.
I am going to check a couple other places to, and see how other shops prices compare.

Thnx Jamie can you post the pics when it gets done...the only pics ive seen of the kit have been of the companies production and im interested to see if it turns out the same or maybe even better

I think any reputable shop (preferably custom or show) will charge anywhere from 1500 to 4500 dollars for everything from prep, paint, to install, and wet sanding and polishing. My kit being 14 pieces including installation and wetsanding, polishing, inc. painted stripes -top to bottom front to back was 4500 dollars. Varies greatly as you can see. It was worth every penny for me. (see gallery)

How much were the stripes painted on tho??? Im sure that boosted the cost quite a bit...im planning on gettin vinyl stripes simply cause of the cost difference. I love your car tho havent had a chance to look at your gallery but you've got the side port exhaust right do you like it and hows it sound???
