Default Can you paint rubber?

Hi all, need some help here. Has anyone ever tried to paint, or somehow coat any rubber pieces on your car. I'd like to dress up my intake tube to my SC by changing ther color. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Im not sure I would paint rubber only for the fact that it's not solid and if it ever bends your paint will crack.... :/

There was a guy here who painted the rubber part on his intake to torch red and while it looked good a painted JLT II CAI is is good for for performance and looks.

Well I am using a Kenne Bell SC, so I'm not sure that would be an option, would it? What about some kind of silicone coating or sleeve, does anyone know of a product that would adhere to the rubber without craking or chipping?

I have been searching for the same answer, it just occurred to me that I should try to wrap it with colored vinyl tape.. . . . .

ya you can do this the old classic gtos had painted rubber noses you just have to add a flex addivitve to the paint mixture before you put it on (saw it on some restoration show on the speed channel a few years back)

Let me know how the tape works. I was thinking of that as well, but wasn't sure how bad it might look.
