I did the 8K bi-xenon kit from American Muscle and very happy with them. The nice part of the bi-xenon is that you can show the police that you still have high beam usage and that makes it harder for them to stroke you.

Haha, well, up here in Ontario...the cops dont care about the long as they work!

8000K is not ricey...i dont know what you are talking about...but each their own...
Ricey is a double stacked wing on a civic...but anyways...

The HID's set it apart...and I think it depends on the colour of your car as to which colour light you should get...

If say you have a red car, i think you'd be better off with 5-6K...but a black of white...then 8K would look great.

Polo708...if 8K is ricey...why is that the stock colour on most cars that come with HIDs? and BTW...not many, if any Jap cars come with HID's...its an aftermarket product for the Civics and other Jap product...

shooter I'm not going to touch the subject if 8000k HIDs are ricey or not but your off on the temperature of stock hids, and Japanese cars that come with HIDs.

Almost all cars with HIDs stock have 4300k (I would say ALL cars with stock HIDs have 4300k bulbs but there might be some bizzare exception out there)

Philips is usally the OEM manufactuer for the bulbs and ballast, they make good stuf.

Lastly there are easily more Japanese cars that have HIDs stock than American cars. HIDs have come stock on Acuras, Infinitis, and Lexus' for years before they were an option on most American cars.
