One of the things I want to do is put the twin stripes on my car. I have 2 weeks to decide what color to get. My car is Vista Blue so I want to go with the metallic silver stripes. The guy that is putting them on (keep in mind they are vinyl) said that any stripes that are metallic will eventually fade and look like crap if the car is parked outside after a year or so. Is this true? He also said if I go with a standard color without the metallic flake, it will not fade.
I really think the met. silver fits my car the best but if Im gonna drop money into it I certainly dont wanna have to re-do the stripes in a year. Please let me know what experiences you guys have had with the vinyl and if your car is outside all the time, the effect the sun has on them.

You will have to look at my picture at the side, but white stripes seem to pop more on vista blue. They are 10" with 1" spacing. They need to go from bumper to bumper to really look cool.

I just had my silver stripes installed on my Vista Blue GT and it looks mean as hell, I will be taking pics this weekend and post them up.
You cant go wrong with the silver!!!
