Ricco333... Yes, that is exactly what I was talking about... But now I'm afraid of the airbag issue.
Find out if the piece is made of plastic chrome or chrome/lead. If it's the plastic kind, it would be safer to attach in that area.

Hey lewlew35, have you thought about removing the door molding? It's really simple and would give the car a much cleaner look.
I think those (rental stripes as we call them) doormoldings take away from the design lines of the car. If you look around on this forum you will notice 99.9% do not have them.

07 stang... I have removed them, LOL. I just need to update my pic. And yes, it looks much better without. Actually, my car was backed into and I had to get a new bumper, front quarter panel, paint etc. The guys at the shop took off my side strip too, so now it's just all clean and sparkling...

I need to get off my butt and take some new pics. HEE.

I didn't do anything... lol One of the other mothers at the daycare backed into me. I was inside picking up my kids and she (the other mother) came back in and said... I'm so sorry blah, blah, blah... Her insurance paid and everything and the car is back together. Actually, I got a whole new bumper out of it. I bought the car used and it had a few scratches where the previous owner pulled up too close to curbs etc. so all that was replaced and new paint... Beautiful. But I still was heartbroken when I stepped back outside to see her all banged up.

I always hate those parking lot accidents. Glad things are put together.
