Photoshop can do a lot more, but you have to be some kind of genius to use it. For God's sake I can't ever even FIND the option I want to use 90% of the time. Adobe is notorious for cramming 10x more than is needed into their programs. Just look at what they did to Flash CS3.....took an excellent program and overloaded it with tons of crap. What took one click before requires me to go through 4 or 5 steps now. MAJOR PITA.
Only problem with Picture Publisher is that is doesn't work well with Windows Vista. If you have Vista you can run it on your system, however when you are done with your file you have to copy it and paste it in Photoshop (or another art program) and then save it in that program.

They were bought out by a company that is owned by Adobe a few years ago and they stopped making it as it was a threat to Photoshop. You can still get it on ebay and places like that. I have version 6.0...I think it goes up to 10.0 but that one is just for digital cameras or something like that. Get 6.0 or 7.0....probably about $40 or $50 on ebay.
