Default cervinis ram-air

I have been saving up for a cervinis ram-air hood and was wondering if anyone has it without the functional air kit? I was trying to find out if there is any wind noise or damage that can be done to wires under the hood because of the funneling of air through the scoop. Kind of a specific question, not sure if anyone can vouch for this one way or another, but any advice would be great. Just not sure if the functional kit would be worth the cash

Yes, I have it without the kit. I bought the hood before they had the box. No problems at all up to about 130. I don't hear any wind noise, but that could be due to side exhaust
