Default Grill question

I'm starting on my Christmas list and was thinking of changing my grill. I've looked over several sites and have seen replacement grills and overlay grills. I understand how the overlay grills work but I'm wondering how they would look. Wouldn't you still see the blackfrom the original grill? Does anyone have a picture of an overlay grill on their car? Thanks.

IMO go for a full replacement grill, the overlays just don't looks as good. First off, if you're thinking about the billet overlays, the vertical bars are alot closer on the overlays because they also serve the purpose of hiding the actual grill behind it. Too many bars just doesn't look that great.

Also, most of the overlays leave out a spot for the running pony. That spot is not bordered most of the time, the bars usually just stop right there at the horse without putting up a perimeter border around the horse, which usually looks just plain old cheap.

This is the best replacement billet grill out there for the v6 IMO.

There are honeycomb grills out there like my center foglight grill, but if you want fogs you need the wiring kit as well as the foglights themselves.

If you do go billet, do yourself a favor and paint everything behind it semi-flat black.
It really finishes out the installation and sets you apart from the buy it and install it crowd.

The v6 GT grill is a great looking grill for your car. It's a simple install. The only mod you need to do is relocate one of the horns,it's not a big deal though.
