Default 11" wide wheels in rear, 10" in front (questions)

I'm looking to purchase some 18x10 (front) and 18x11 (rear) wheels in the near future, and I'm curious if this will cause any kind of clearance issues (i did some rough measurements and everything seemed fine, but i wanted to check on here too). the car is not lowered at all, though i plan to in the future. i would like to run some 285/40/18 for the rear and 255/45/18 for the fronts.

thanks guys [8D]

Those wheels sound a little wide for those tires. I'm running 255's on fanblades which are ony 8.5" wide. 285's will fit fine on a 10" wheel. I think 18x9 up front and 18x10 out back will be better for the tires you mentioned.

I would be afraid of a 10" front wheel rubbing during turns. 11 in the back...maybe.

I wouldnt go wider than 9.5" for the fronts, 255/45 is ok though... but I think a 10" rim is very wide for that tire.
a 10" wide rim is good for 285/40 tire.

Those tires are way too skinny for the wheels. Most people run that size on 9" wheels.

I have 10.5" wheels out back and it is a very tight fit, a 10 inch wheel up front is unneccesary, and the tires you are thinking about running are too small for those wheels.

I could have sworn that you can't fit anything larger than a 9 on the front.

You can get whatever size you want if you go forged

it appears that they might be 18x9 and 18x10 (front/rear). the picture I was shown has it measuring 10/11 edge-to-edge, but the seller says measurements are supposed to be from in inside lip to inside lip. here are the pictures, what do you think?
