I wouldn't say there's a noticeable weight gain,But I'm stock height and have about 3' of clearance for the
exhaust tips and not much more for the front bumper.So if that doesn't scare you I say go for it!

What's up Eleanor06! I have the kit too and being plastic parts minus the hood which is fiberglass I doubt it slows the car in any way. I have 465 RWHP ( retuned) on a car w/ 20" rims (heavy) and everything else stock so I am not too concerned so I say go for it if you like the dropped look! My car IMO looks just as fast standing still as it does moving if that helps at all! J
