i've had a few people tell me that the FR500 style rims don't fit right on the S197 Stangs... is this true? anybody running FR500's let me know troubles you've had or if they've been trouble free... i'm thinking of getting some of the black chrome ones from Cruizin' Concepts.

I have not heard of fitment issues. Just make sure they are for 05+ because the SN95's have a different offset. Mike wont sell you something that wont fit.

I had a set on my 2005 Mustang I bought those from Americanmuscle, those fit great and held up well. When I sold my 05 I gave them to my brother and he's had them now on his 06 stang for a year or so. Total miles put on those wheels was about 40k, they held up great. The main thing is you just have to make sure you get the ones for 05+ stangs, the backspacing or offset changed I think.Coincidentally I actually ordered a set of 18x9 black FR500's tonight for my 07 Stang from Cruizinconcepts, no one could beat their price. I'll be able to tell you in a week or so how the quality and fitment compares to the others. I'll post back up when I get them.
