Does anyone have this rear bumper valance? I might get it, but pictures would be good to help me decide.

thanks for the picture cam, it looks really cool. was it easy to put on? I think that I will get that valance and some side window louvers and have them both painted at the same time.

yeah If i was to install a lip like that I would mold it into my rear bumper cover so it would look more factory. I love it dont get me wrong but it would look much better like that instead of the stuck on look.

i have it as well..but not installed yet, from the looks, it gets held on by 1 screw in each wheel well, then 3m tape all the way around...it also seems to be a 2 person install, because its a bit larger peice than it actually looks when installed, the peices that go up the wheel well arent "stiff" when its just sitting and not install, not sure if you get what i mean, but if you would hold the peice from the center in the back, the side peices will bend and fall downwards. meaning you would want 2 people, 1 on each side of the car holding it place and attaching it at the same time

excuse my ignorance, but how would you "mold" it? would that require some sort of chemical adhesive bonding? I was thinking maybe using some plastic fasteners like the ones used on the side rocker panels.

What I would do is remove my rear bumper cover and attatch the lip like it goes. Then I would mold it into the bumper using fiberglass and resin. It would take some time and patience and you would definately need body work experience but in the end you would have something totally unique. The finish product would have absolutely no lines to tell that the lip had not been there factory. I know this is permanent but as cheap as you can get the bumper covers I would definately do it.

Had my bodyshop put it on. Looked fairly simple to do.
