Default Hoods

Ok I was thinking about getting a CervinisType 4 hood for my stang. It is ram air but I know these are desigened for the GT or aleast I think they are, anyway I was wondering if the Ram Air would work and how it would work on my car. Also what would be some Disadvantages of ram air cause I know the advantages.

Post a pic of the hood in question so it can be commented on. As far as ram air goes I don't see any disadvantages. I'd suggest heat extractors in addition to the ram air though.

if you dont want to spend $700 or more they have lower ram air kits which go in the lower grill so you dont need a new hood

Or you could buy a True Fiber with built in ram air (no extra kit to buy) and also have exrtactors.

there's this hood also which i'm a fan of. it provides functional ram air support as well. whether it helps performance or not, cool air that's directed to your intake is always a good thing.
