Default front end GT 500 conversion

I have a 07 Mustang GT and I want to convert front end to GT500. Do Ihave to change the hood also, or can the standard hood beused with the GT500 front splitter?

The stock hood will work, but they say the lines don't match up as good as the hoods specifically fabricated for use with the GT500's body lines in mind.

i am currently upgrading to the gt500 kit myself, but do not want anything other than the kr hood. pantera72 is right about the lines, it wont look right because of the angle on the pillars between the lights and the grille. if you havent order your kit yet, go check out all the parts on http://www.fordpartswebsite.com/
super cheap conversion parts! i priced right under 1200 for the front end without hood.

where exactly do the lines don't match? the sides of the hood, the front?? little gaps here and there? my car will be black so it's not like you'd be able to see it unless you're really up close anyways right? lol..
