$500 seams to be a standard price. I was quoted $500 and that was for a guy to custom make the stripes 10†run from front lip to rear lip. I thought it was pricy but Ford Motor Company will charge $1700 just for the stripes. I found them on one of our sponsors but I can’t recall who it was and they were only $135 for the stripes. The same guy charging me 500 said the install alone is about 350.

Just use your own judgment.

I've read, if you go with vinyl stripes to have them clear coated so they will last longer, but the best way to make them last longer is to have stripes painted on.

$350 is a great price for the stripes and install!
I found out who does the stripes for a Ford dealership near me and went directly to them.. They are a ricey little import shop, but do custom graphics. They quoted me $450.. Its a little high, but knowing they do work for the dealership makes me more confident that it will be good.

As for the tint for $200.. it IS a little steep..
I got the highest grade 3M and it was 5 windows for $160..
The % didn't affect the price.. it could have been 5% or 35%.. its the labor they charge for..

I forgot to add that the $200 for the tint included a felt liner for both doors (so that the tint doesnt scratch) If whoever is going to tint your windows doesnt tell you that you need the liner is either doing you a dis-service or doesnt know that you need it.

My 50/30 tint install was $250.00.......(that included a short notice $50.00 rush fee) PLUS $50 for the MOLESKIN I installed myself. I got butt-raped I guess. But I still have perfect tint!!!!.....I'm glad I read forums first!@
