I have this antenna and I love it. Looks a lot better than the stock one and the reception is just as good.

only thing i don't care for with the shorty antennas are the wind noise over 60-70+mph.. the stock one doesn't do it because it's thinner and curved the whole way down.

I have the 14" and my reception hasn't suffered. A few have noted poor reception with the 8".

I have that same one.........Rarely, I'll get poor reception out in the Boonies, but that's why we have CD's.........LOL

I got the 14" cuz it matches up perfect with the roofline.

Anything is better than the flyfishing pole ford puts on these things

+1. I went with the 14" (from AmericanMuscle) because of how well it matched the roofline. 8" are decent as well, just wasn't what I was after. As far as quality, it's been 100% so far. Easy install, cleans up the look, I'd say a shorter antenna is a no-brainer (especially considering how cheap they are.)

As for reception, that should be a non-issue.

Aftermarket exhaust + windows down = music to my ears.

I'm going to guess that installation is as easy as screwing the old one off, and then screwing the new one on?
