Dark Tint for Rear and Quarter Windows?

Dark Tint for Rear and Quarter Windows?
I have been thinking about louvers, but also want to consider the alternatives.
I am thinking about only tinting the rear and quarter windows very dark (5% to 15%).
This way I can still use the quarter windows for better visual checks.
I am thinking about leaving the passenger windows completely non-tint.
This way I don't have to deal with installing foreskin, redskins, moleskin, or whatever.
So, what are your opinions about dark tints for only the quarters and rear?
Also, if you have pictures (or know of some), please post them to help me make my decision.
Thank you for your help!

I don't have any pictures of this on my computer, but I've seen a few cars with it in real life and it looks so-so in my opinion.
Better than no tint, but not as good as tinting all the way around.
If it's the moleskin you're worried about, it's really easy to install (TacoBill has a great write-up in his collection of write-ups) and every tint place I've ever talked to/hear about others talking to will usually install the moleskin for you before they'll even tint (because they know tint will scratch without it.) So you can definitely do it yourself in about an hour, or just get the tint place to do it for you (and almost all of them will for a few more bucks.)
The only real argument I can see for not tinting the sides at all is if you're worried about the police hassling you. Tint tickets can get expensive in a hurry at $100 a pop, so if the police are really crazy about that in your town, it might become a problem.
If the cops aren't too nuts about it (and generally they don't seem to be) I would get all the side windows tinted as well as the quarter windows and the rear. It looks a lot better and seems to flow a lot nicer in my opinion.

my opinion is all windows need to be the same, i really hate when i see cars with 2 different shades of tint.
also if you try to put foreskin on your door panels you'll have more problems than possible scratched tint

Thanks, guys.
I agree that inconsistent shades among windows kills the flow of the car.
I just looked at pictures of Mustangs with the Louvers and I think I like the looks of Louvers better, as they enhance the curve of the roof line.
Now, I'll just have to bite the bullet and order a set of Roush louvers.
And, it's best to avoid messing with the foreskin.

I got tint AND louvers (the tint was free when the shop did my other windows.. lol)
They did 5% on the 1/4's in case I take the louvers off and want the back to stay dark..
I just wish I did darker on the drivers and passengers..doh. I wudda gone illegal if I'd known I cudda gotten away with it (I know an inspection station or two.. )

The quarter windows are so small that it's hard to tell a difference in darkness if you have the side windows close to the back quarters and back glass. I have 20% on my side windows and then 10% on the quarters and back...the quarters don't stand out as being darker.

I think different tint on the front depends on your interior color as well. I have 35% on my fronts, 20 on 1/4 and rear, charcoal interior, it's not bad at all. Might look different on a tan interior. IF you went 50/20...or 50/10.....it would be more noticeable. I think 35 all around would look good. 50 all around would be to light I think, but better than nothing at all.
