Are you having problem because the groove/gap is too wide?
Because the welt's tail is too thin compard to the gap, I added folded papers around the welt's tail.
Its been over a year now and it's still fixed.

The very first one is exactly what I am talking about. And on the other side as well. In between the guages I guess would be a better description.
Oh man. Seems complicated. Hah. Thats a lot of folded paper!
