Get the carbon fiber and paint it! I agree that it has a gel coat but the fiberglass you have to be careful with and I have not heard any problems with the carbon fiber hoods....very strong and light weight and less issues than the fiberglass IMO J

I found a fiberglass hood, "Venom" http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohostingthat should be out in carbon fiber in April, so I might just wait until then. Thanks for all the replys [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I am 90% sure that is a members car from the ebay auction you posted....looks like mellowyellow's could be wrong but great hood!

Looks like I was wrong and I think you're right. I found some other pics on ebay and it does look like mellowyellow06's car. I like that hood much better than the carbon fiber one i was looking at, just so hard to wait until April!
