Ingnore the fact that this is a miata site. I found the tire size calculator very helpful in comparing new tires to your stock size. I'm going with 255/35-20 front and 295/30-20 rear. (they have the same size sidewall and diameter)

If the tire size is 275/30/20.
Divide 275mm by 25.4 which converts it to inches = 10.82677 in
Multipliy that answer by the second tire number (ratio) after a point. 10.82677*.30 = 3.248031 in This is the height of the sidewall.
Since there is a bottom and top sidewall, multiply that number by 2 3.248031*2 = 6.496062 in
Now add the height of the rim. 6.496062+20 = 26.496 in This is the final height of the tire and wheel. It will actually be a little less than this since the weight of the car will compress the sidewall a bit.
Do the same procedure for the stock tires, and it will tell you what the difference will be.

What size are you running in the Shelbys on your car. They look great, I have the side exhaust and rub as it is with the stock height. is your car a standard height? if not what springs did you use?
Thanks,
TASSY5
