Honestly, the key was the sandpaper! LOL
Because when you do your cutting, it's not going to be perfect at first. The sandpaper did the trick for me!

I cut mine. And even if you dont cut it perfectly, when you put the exhaust on you dont even see the hole.

What did you guys do about the dual exhaust? Mine already has a single Magnaflow axleback, would I just buy another and tie it into the current pipes? Or would I just have to get the entire exhaust system redone?

The guys who installed my mufflers cut my bumper. They said it was very easy to do using the template. We all care about the way our cars look and certainly wouldn't recommend something that is going to make your car look like crap.

When I stopped by a local Ford dealer a few months ago, one of the salesmen told me the install looked like a factory job. Also keep in mind that Ford sells a muffler kit that instructs you to cut your bumper. Only other way around it is to replace it with one that has two cut outs. Why spend that money on a bumper when you could use it for other more important mods?

I think the original bumper on the V6 looks awesome with duals! I prefer it over the GT bumper.
The GT bumper looks too formed and "nice", the V6 bumper cut with duals just looks tough as hell.

i had mine cut as well, but got in an accident and got the GT Bumper now

God forbid anything happening to my bumper, but if does, I would consider getting a GT Bumper as long as someone else's insurance is paying for it.
