yeah.. thats what is keeping me away from the rear window louver.. i don't want to block part of my vision.. especially since i have to back out onto a street where i already have reduced visibilty to oncoming traffic...

I don't know about on the S197's (I have a 'vert), but I used to own a '79 T/A that had louvers on the back of it.. Zero problems seeing out.

That's my GT on their website! Be sure to flow them a pic of your car once you get some photos in the sunshine! I love that color of red!
Here are pics of the view looking out.
And don't worry about cleaning the window. Once the window has the louver over it it won't be getting very dirty anymore! When washing the car just glide the sponge into the 5 vents and shoot a stream of water in there. Fold the chamois and use a corner of it to dry off. It doesn't have to be totally clean anyway, since nobody is going to be seeing it!
