I recently bought the Cervinis GT500 front lip for my 05 black GT. I bought it thinking it would be a flat black or something like they show in the picture but turned out to be some sort of unpainted plastic.[:@]Now that i bought it and in process of getting it painted i was unsureof how to paint it. So has anyone else bought this same lip and had it painted either a gloss black or a flat black. Please post some pix of your stang with this same lip. It would help especially if your stang was black too. thanx everyone.

Its poured urethane(They make it from this materiel since it is more resistant to impact)....When you take it to a body shop they will bake it to get all the oils out of the material then prime itand will paint it w.e color you want....Since its not like a textured black plastic I would deff paint it gloss black to match your stang...........Post some pics after you get it on...

Ugh, that totally sucks! They should have warned you in huge letters that it was unpainted.

Take it a body shop or else it won't look as good. That's what I'm doing with the chin spoiler I'm thinking of picking up.

Cervinis should put that on their site for future reference. Hey Simplexdesign, when you bought your ducktail spoiler from them did it come the same wayor is it fiberglass.
I'll have to take it in asap. Just waiting for pay day. I can't wait.

Yea it came the same way...Almost all off their parts come as poured urethane except for their hoods...Again good luck n make sure to post some pics up after install
