Well, i have been tossing up for a while now whether i want the Cervinis Ram Air Hood or the California Dream Hood made by RKSPORT. Just recently saw a blue mustang pass by with the Dream hood and also saw an awesome pic on the net with it. So I'm here to ask anyone's comments and concerns about this hood, i love cervinis but i don't love the cervinis rendition of the dream hood. So as far as i know there are three renditions of it probably more...tru fiber, cervinis, and rksport <the original as far as i know>. So anyone hate em or love em? is RKsports Cali Dream Hood the best option of the three? or are they all horrible? are hood pins really required? is there a better fix, i don't really like hood pins....kinda takes away from the cleanlieness imho. thanks for your time!

i have the cali dream hood and front end.i lovethe hoodand seeing other stang they look plan to me and people are always giving me compliments. i didnt like hood pins eitherat first but driving over 55 mph the hood starts to shake really bad and i was always scared it was gonna fly off. so i got the pins and actually really liked them.

Yeah that is a really sweet hood, your ride is looking awesome as well. I'm torn personally atm between your style hood (be it the rksport or cervinis concept versions....so hard to tell apart it has drove me nuts...i am a sucker for details) and the Cervinis Ram Air Hood. Then it's like ok why do 5 different people have to make similar things! I'm partial to Cervinis only because i have never had problems with there stuff....but the Cali is supposedly taller by 3/4" over the Cervinis Concept Hood. It's as hard a decision as chosing between Black or Alloy for when I order my car in April.

Did the Cali Special hood come with the screen inserts for the inlets?

On a side note, doesn't it suck that we live in Maryland and have to put that front plate on?

I got the Cali hood as well and blackstang24's right when u go over 55 the hood starts shaking and I too put on hoods, the problem was solved ad the pins add to the appeal. I would recommend it, b/c u don't see any out there. The Cali hood came with inserts, I just had it primed and painted and used the old hardware to install it although I had trouble snapping my windshiled wiper squirtt nozzles in place.


But recently I got a JLT cold air intake using an SCT Livewire flash and am getting error messages saying I have too much oxygen in my exhaust. I'm trying to figure out the problem. Don't know yet if it's due to the hood or if my Livewire flash with the cold air intake option isn't taking.
