I may be wrong but I don't believe he was asking for opinions, just pics.

Hey Kara, I'm with you. Skip the pasties.

For the real thing, I'd go chrome flush mount.

I would only put them on if I had to. My 93 vr4 had a carbon fiber hood, and had to have them, BUT I still didnt put them on it

OK but I think I'll opt for a brewsky.

Rick

PS: I installed mine because I was getting sick & tired of watching the corners of the hood flopping in the wind even when the stops where adjusted pretty darn tight, any higher & the hood wouldn't line up. Besides with the hood flexing the scoop was digging into the paint on the hood not unlike the guys are having with the scoops digging into their vinyl stripes.

I agree, I also have the C&L CAI, This causes my hood to flap at over 50MPH. I do not care for the look of Pins but in some cases they are needed. I am looking at the Shelby Pins that vphokie put on. Of all the different ones that I have seen, these appear to have the best look. My car is also the white with Red Stripes being painted starting on Monday. The Body shop doing the painting will install the pins for an additional $50 on top of the $1000 to do the stripes. I will attach pic upon completion.

I just installed my black shelby pins today..what a pita cutting the holes in the hood. The hole I cut for the shaker was so much easier. Im happy though because they look so nice and were well worth the effort. Ill put some pics up later when I get some decent ones

Good to see another 3000GT owner, even if you have or hada VR4 (lucky SOB). My 96 is inrebuild right now, but then, it is a 3GT and that's what owning one seems to be all about. Hense why I bought a Mustang and why I'm doing a 440 swap in the 3GT. Should be interesting when completed though...
