It's coming together nicely...

steph, your car looks great. Keep in mind that the verts are heavier than the coupe, and naturally sit lower in the back.
This picture shows a good example, level ground with full tank of gas before lowering:
With the advice of another vert owner, I ended up getting the Roush springs (3/4" drop) front and back and am happy with the results.

It's a cost vs. effect thing. I think I want to work on the engine for a while and I can spend money there. How much did it cost you to lower the 3/4" including labor?

I had 4.10 gears installed by a local speed shop. Went with them for their reputation.
Wanted it done right and no gear whine.
While they had the car, they installed Roush springs and Koni adj.Shocks/Struts.
If I were doing the springs separately, I'd go to a general purpose mechanic or muffler shop.
Bet Firestone or Midas could do the install. If you are looking at prices, shoot me a pm.
Next year it will be rims and tires for me. I like Konig and AM Rogue, but whichever I choose, they will be black with chrome lip.

I am going to agree that lowering these Mustang's looks very nice but after lowering a 2000 GT I had a few years ago I would never do it again. The ride is much rougher and I swear I had to avoid 75% of parking lots, roads, etc. With all the dips and speed bumps around my area it about made it impossible to drive most places without scraping the bottom. I remember driving down a gravel road once and hearing the gravel pinging off the bottom of the car. Not a nice sound!
