after market gauge plan
I have a 2007 Ford Mustang GT, 5 speed manual with the following upgrades so far:
373 FR gears, Roush 427 exhaust, Ford Racing X Pipe, CDC chin spoiler, CDC Foose Hood, CDC Shaker, JLT intake, Scott Drake billet engine caps, Steeda polished radiator cover, Roush side window louvers, Midwest auto radiator side covers, Midwest Auto mirror covers, Roush floor mats, Roush short shifter, Roush door sill plates, Roush Window sill plates, Roush seat levers, Roush seat belt covers, 1969 Gold-reflective Mach 1 stripe, 1969 mach 1 pony side emblems, Shelby black hood pins, billet engine screws, alpine amps, 12" kicker VR comp sub, replacement alpine 6x8" coaxial speakers, shaker 500 stereo, Superchips Flashpaq 93 octane tune
I have decided to put some autometer aftermarket gauges in the car. both the CDC center pod (painted gloss black) and SOS triple pillar pod with Raptor shift light.
I was planning on going all electrical gauges or mechanical? Autometer Cobalt
Gauges I am planning on: Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Water Temperature, D-TIC, Digital voltage, Fuel Pressure.
Also looked a transmission temperature and pyrometer gauges?
Wanted to see what gauges others have done in for their NA cars?
Is the installation difficult on these? How much labor time would be involved if were to have done?
Thanks,
Steve

If you are asking for opinion only, I'd say ditch the gagues unless you have a supercharger or turbo to monitor. I just don't think with what you have done to your car that they will be worth the money spent on it. I may be wrong for those of you that are hardcore racers that take your car to the track like every weekend. I saw a mustang that didn't have forced induction with 3 gagues and it just made it look stupid to me.

Looks like you want to monitor just about everything. How about one of those digital gauges that reads and displays OBD information. Your car already has most of those sensors already. Unless of course you like the cockpit look.

Sounds a bit overkill to me.. I don't see the point in having all those gauges in a N/A vehicle, aside from the illusion of higher performance. If you're dead-set on getting gauges, I'd second the vote for the Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Gauges, they read the information from your OBDII port, like Ford-A-Tude said. Other than that, don't try and trick the passenger into thinking the car's about to lift off.
