I recently purchased a new Mustang 2008 GT Convertable, although preimum trim it didn't come with ambient lighting and the top of the line instrament panel (which includes the message center). I want both of these things but my ford dealer is completely unwilling to help because they are busy.

What the GT base instrament panel lacks that really bothers me is an oil and water guage.

What options do I have to obtain a set of guages that will install and work and provide me with the above? Is there any hope in getting the top of the line instrament panel and message center installed?

Are there interrior lighting modifications for ambient lighting that I can buy and install?

I'm sorry for all the questions. I purchased this mustang after looking for 4 months for the right color interrior/exterrior that was automatic. Supply is tight and ordering directly would have ment little discount. As it is a I got a good price and if fixing the above issues costs $1000 or so I'm ok with it.

So I did some reading on these fourms and it seems that this upgrade has been done a lot by a bunch of people here. My question: Will a 2008 GT Premium have the wireing harness required for the upgrade?

If not will a ford service center install the right wiring harness if I want to pay for it?
